OUTER AOI TECH HELPS ENSURE MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE

Employee Spotlight: Megan Vichich

CALUMET, Mich. — Megan Vichich has been a valuable member of the Calumet Electronics team since October, 2021!

As part of the outer AOI team, Megan is responsible for inspecting outer layer images on PCBs for defects like open circuits, shorts, and thinning solder before we print the solder mask ink. Her job requires problem solving, good judgement, and attention to detail — all of which Megan demonstrates every day.

“Megan is the ultimate team player,” said Michael Messner, Employee Development & Training Manager. “She works weekends to help with production throughput to keep the next department fed with work. She always brings a positive work ethic and she goes out of her way to help others.”

“My co-workers are awesome.”

Megan feels there’s a lot to like about her job. “My co-workers are awesome, I don’t have to work with customers every day, my hours are perfect, and it’s close to home.” One of Megan’s team members mentioned how much they appreciate the way she encourages them to improve and work harder, saying, “The drive and love she has for her job is contagious.”

A native of Ahmeek and a graduate of Calumet High School, when she’s not working Megan loves spending time with her cat, Haji, science fiction, reading books, playing video games, and summer weather.

Everyone at Calumet Electronics benefits from Megan’s energy and positivity. Thanks, Megan, for all you do each day to help maintain our manufacturing excellence. We appreciate you!
