Engineer Spotlight: Amanda Tober, Internal Quality Auditor

CALUMET, Mich. — Since Amanda Tober joined Calumet Electronics eight and a half years ago, she has become a critical part of our Quality Assurance and Compliance team which oversees our QMS. As an IPC-A-600 certified Internal Quality Auditor, she manages day-to-day questions from the shop floor and works closely with the Process and R&D teams on newly advancing technologies and machine qualifications. Amanda is also cross-trained to AOI and inspection areas.

“Her work style and personality are a perfect fit for the jobs she performs as she truly wants to get to the root cause of the problem by investigating all aspects of the issues from CAM, Process, and manufacturing,” said Rodney Nuttall, Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance. “As she works through problems, she employs critical thinking, systematically and methodically checking on everything. Her co-workers appreciate that they can go to her at any time for help on getting questions answered promptly.”
