QUALITY-MINDED OPTEK OPERATOR HELPS KEEP CALUMET ELECTRONICS CUSTOMERS HAPPY

Scott Tadych

CALUMET, Mich. — Scott Tadych Jr., has been a valuable member of the Calumet Electronics team since 2019.

Scott is a diligent worker and a fast learner. He’s currently trained in 11 areas and is working on two more! He has worked in both Factories 1 and 4 and maintains his training in those areas. When Scott stepped into his current role as the Optek Operator in Factory 5, he quickly picked up the programs and systems. Optek’s VideoMic VSA is a precision coordinate video inspection and measurement system that allows operators to verify critical dimensions on first articles, production samples, or entire runs. The Optek operator measures and verifies completed printed circuit boards to make sure they meet customer specifications.

“Scott is a dedicated, continuous learner and an important member of the team,” said Michael Messner, Employee Development & Training Manager. “His job requires a quality-centered mindset and strong attention to detail, which he demonstrates each and every day. Scott is a hard worker and a great guy. He’s always ready to come to work and get the job done.”

“I like learning new things.”

Scott Tadych Jr.

Scott likes the variety of work he’s done at Calumet, but he also appreciates the consistency. “I really like learning new things and applying them daily,” he said. “I also enjoy the regular work schedule and the great overtime opportunities.” Team members like Scott are a major reason why customers keep returning to Calumet Electronics. We’re very thankful to have people like Scott joining our team. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality at every level of our operation keeps our customers happy. We appreciate you, Scott!
